2008 Mens League Information

Last season was a great year for The Ranch Men’s League.  In just it’s first season, the Ranch Men’s League had many highlights which included the following:

• Average of 65 golfers per Men’s Night
• Over $12,000 in prizes given away throughout the season
• Demo Days with leading Golf Manufacturers such as Callaway, TaylorMade, Ping, and Titleist.
• Nightly Sponsors
• Nightly Skins, deuce pots, and proximity prizes were a huge hit
• League championship in September was a huge success

  

In 2008, The Ranch is committed to making our Men’s League even better.  We have added additional dates to our Men’s league which will increase our Men’s League to at least 15 nights in 2008 compared to 11 in 2007.  Also, we will continue to have our Demo Days coincide with Men’s Night, but will be adding new features such as Computerized Club Fittings and Big Break competitions.  Lastly, The Ranch is offering attractive Men’s League sponsorship opportunities that will contribute to great nightly prizes and make certain the league will be successful for many seasons to come.

Format

The Ranch Men’s League takes place on Monday Nights throughout the golf season.   The nightly format is 18 holes of golf with proximity prizes (i.e. closest to the pin, long drive) located on the first nine holes of play.  Each golfer also has the option of participating in a skins and deuce pot.  Tee times for Men’s League Nights will begin at 3:30 pm and can be booked up to a week in advance.  However, if league participation increases to over 80 players, the tee time structure will change to a modified shotgun format starting at
4:00 pm.

Men’s League fees

*SPECIAL* Introductory League Green Fee (Men’s league dates prior to May 16, 2008)
• $35 + GST ((includes: Power cart, Driving range, and GPS)

Nightly League Green Fees (After May 16th)  
• $55 + GST (includes: Power cart, Driving range, and GPS)

Additional Nightly Costs

• $10 prize fee for Men’s League Members
• $15 prize fee for Non-Members
• $5 – Optional deuce Pot
• $5 – Optional Skins Pot
• Nightly food and drink specials throughout the season

Men’ League Membership fee 

• $100 + GST and benefits include:
• FREE ENRTY into Men’s League Championship held in September 
• Discounted fee Nightly Prizes
• Alberta Golf Association Handicap Card and use of RCGA handicap computer

Note: the Men’s League Membership fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
